Welcome to 'WCH Weekly Bites'

Just when you thought we couldn't get any sweeter, let us introduce our brand new blog, 'WCH Weekly Bites'. Every Sunday, we'll be using this space to post updates, news and all other exclusive behind-the-scenes content about what makes our business tick. We're so excited!

Being a fairly new company, with minimal knowledge of the baking industry, we were unsure of what to expect. Jeff's catering background was able to give him a foundation for the production side of the business, however our work since then has been based solely on trial and error. We had no idea that the wedding favours would be as popular as they've become, and the giant welsh cakes having taken off in a big way!

After a bit of research, we were able to revamp the traditional welsh cake, a pretty niche product, into a fun and tasty treat sent as a gift or to simply be enjoyed on a rainy day with a cup of tea. Since our establishment, we've created over a dozen delicious flavours - some of which being seasonally in line with Christmas, Valentine's Day and Summer. We're always on the hunt for new and interesting taste combinations to add to the welsh cake flavour family, currently experimenting with carrot cake and pina colada elements...

Last week was huge for us - the first official week where our website was launched. The response was incredible and we can't thank you all enough for supporting us. We're loving the concept of having all our products in one place, for people to browse through and have the option of buying at the click of a button. With Halloween and Christmas coming up, we're doing our specials again, with seasonal ribbon and special limited edition flavours - make sure you keep an eye out on our social pages!
